Divisions

Members of MRA are invited to join divisions, small affiliation groups under the umbrella of MRA focusing on specific rehabilitation issues in Minnesota.

Divisions offer training seminars geared toward their members’ disciplines. Although membership is not required to attend training, those with membership are often offered a discounted rate.

Job Placement and Development (JPD)

To advance employment for all persons with disabilities through the identification and dissemination of information.To enhance the skills of job placement professionals and vocational rehabilitation counselors.

Minnesota Rehabilitation Counselors and Education (MRCEA)

The purpose of the association is to advance the profession of rehabilitation counseling through the establishment of professional ethics, public understanding, and supportive programs, which will assist all persons with disabilities in becoming self-sufficient and contributing members of society.

Minnesota Association of Service Providers in Private Rehabilitation (MASPPR)

We are a great network of professional rehabilitation providers in the Minnesota worker’s compensation system from all corners of the state and we are the largest division of MRA. 

Association of Rehabilitation Technicians and Specialists (ARTS)

ARTS serves as a vehicle for interaction and exchange of ideas between the public and private sectors of rehabilitation.

Transition Specialties Division (TSD) 

We are a division for all who have concern regarding transition of young adults with disabilities into careers. Our division is focused on joining efforts between all interested parties – rehabilitation professionals, special education staff, aides, resource teachers, placement staff, transition coordinators, teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and students.
