ABOUT ARTS

The Association of Rehabilitation Technicians and Specialists is a division developed for support staff in the rehabilitation setting to promote a network of information, communication and to advocate for individuals with disabilities.  The Division has a history dating back to 1974 when it was established as the “Association of Rehabilitation Secretaries”. The association has grown and changed as had the field of vocational rehabilitation.

ARTS AWARDS

ARTS will be presenting two Rehabilitation Support Staff awards this year, one to a support staff who is working in the public sector and one to a staff who is working in a private setting.

Public or Private Rehabilitation Support Staff of the Year: Any individual working in the rehabilitation field that supports activities related to individuals with disabilities in their work toward achieving employment. This includes, but is not limited to: support staff, administrative assistants, accounting staff, technology staff, rehabilitation technicians, etc. Nominees do NOT have to be members of MRA.
